Personnel changes in the Executive Board of Porsche Holding Salzburg
- Alain Favey to be Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing of the ŠKODA brand
- Dr Hans Peter Schützinger to be CEO of Porsche Holding Salzburg
As of 1 September 2017, there will be changes to the management of Porsche Holding Salzburg, Europe's largest automotive distribution company. Former CEO Alain Favey (50) is to become Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing of the ŠKODA brand. His successor as CEO of the Porsche Holding Salzburg will be his colleague Dr Hans Peter Schützinger (56), previously CFO of the company.
Dr Hans Peter Schützinger started his career in 1989, in finance and accounting at Porsche Holding Salzburg. In 1991, he took over as head of balance sheet and accounting and was also responsible for business projects in other countries. In 2002, he was appointed CFO of Porsche Holding Salzburg. He was most recently responsible for finance, financial services and the multi-brand retail companies in France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland.
Alain Favey has almost 30 years' experience in automobile sales. He joined the Volkswagen Group in 2009 and was Head of Sales Europe of the Volkswagen brand. In 2012, he was promoted to the position of CEO of Porsche Holding Salzburg.
The Salzburg-based company is consistently following a path of growth, increasing its revenue during this period from EUR 11.3 billion (2011) to EUR 21.1 billion (2016). Today Porsche Holding Salzburg is Austria's largest company*.
